BMIS Primary School

Primary School
BMIS run a high quality primary school on the campus enrolling able (sighted) children starting from Pre (Play, Nursery & KG) going on to Primary Education (grades 1 to 5).
Presently, the BMIS integrates general education with visually impaired students from grade four. The education of sighted children who pay fees to attend the school subsides the education of the poorest blind or visually impaired children. There are currently about 130 children receiving education support in the school.

Our playschool class has about 25 boys and girls. The children learn through a structured programme of learning through play.
|
The Nursery class is well resourced to ensure each child receives the right support. We believe no child should be left behind.
|
Our aim is to give children a growing sense of self-esteem and self-worth who can demonstrate increasing independence and the ability to show initiative.

Year 1 to Year 5
We aim to provide a stimulating and caring environment where children can feel safe, secure and confident. We want our children to be happy, confident and enthusiastic learners. We aim to let each child reach their full potential.
We want children to show confidence in making choices and in giving reasons for decisions and actions. As the children develop we wish to see their ability to reason and apply knowledge in solving everyday problems increase.
